Anti-PCNX3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pecanex 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2034 amino acid residues and a mass of 222 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the Pecanex protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include pecanex homolog 3, pecanex homolog protein 3, pecanex-like 3, and pecanex-like protein 3. PCNX3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. These PCNX3 antibodies are widely used in Immunoprecipitation experiments, among other applications.
