Anti-calcyphosine like antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the CAPSL gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 208 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Other names for this target antigen include calcyphosin-like protein. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some calcyphosine like antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
