Anti-SLIT and NTRK like family member 6 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SLITRK6 in humans. The gene may also be known as DFNMYP, SLIT and NTRK-like protein 6, and 4832410J21Rik. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 95.1 kilodaltons in mass. The SLITRK6 marker can be used to identify Thalamic Excitatory Neurons.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
