Anti-PROCA1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein interacting with cyclin A1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 364 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is found to be highly expressed in the testis. A member of the PROCA1 protein family, PROCA1 is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein PROCA1 and proline-rich cyclin A1-interacting protein. PROCA1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the PROCA1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
