Anti-yippee like 2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the YPEL2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 119 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. The yippee like 2 protein is a member of the Yippee protein family. Other names for this target antigen include protein yippee-like 2 and DiGeorge syndrome-related protein.
