Anti-Enolase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ENO1 in humans. The enolase 1 protein has an expected mass of 47.2 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as alpha enolase, plasminogen binding protein, ENO1L1, HEL-S-17, MPB1, NNE, and c-myc promoter-binding protein-1. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including yeast, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
