Anti-PCNX4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein pecanex 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1172 amino acid residues and a mass of 132.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the Pecanex protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HCV F protein-binding protein 2, HCV F-interacting protein, hepatitis C virus F protein-binding protein 2, pecanex homolog 4, pecanex homolog protein 4, and pecanex-like protein 4. PCNX4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PCNX4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
