Anti-DEAH-box helicase 37 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DHX37 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1157 amino acid residues and a mass of 129.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the fallopian tube, ovary, uterus and testis. A member of the DEAD box helicase protein family, it is known to be involved with brain development. Other names for this target antigen include DEAD/DEAH box helicase DDX37, DEAD/H (Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp/His) box polypeptide 37, DEAH (Asp-Glu-Ala-His) box polypeptide 37, DEAH box protein 37, and probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX37.
