Anti-P46 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target P46 is a known alias name of the protein DNA polymerase delta interacting protein 3, encoded by the POLDIP3 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 421 residues and a mass of 46.1 kDa. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
