Anti-CD52 molecule antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CD52 in humans. The gene may also be known as CDW52, EDDM5, HE5, CAMPATH-1 antigen, and CD52 antigen (CAMPATH-1 antigen). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 6.6 kilodaltons in mass. The CD52 marker can be used to identify Monocytes and Human Group 3 Innate Lymphoid Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
