Anti-Syntaxin 11 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the STX11 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 287 amino acid residues and a mass of 33.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and membrane. A member of the Syntaxin protein family, it is a reported SNARE that acts to regulate protein transport between late endosomes and the trans-Golgi network. The gene encoding this protein is implicated in Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. Other names for this target antigen include HLH4, HPLH4, and FHL4. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of Syntaxin 11 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
