Anti-ELYS antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene AHCTF1, or 'AT-hook containing transcription factor 1' in humans. The 2266-amino acid protein is a member of the ELYS family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
