Anti-c-yes antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the c-yes antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the YES1 gene, which encodes YES proto-oncogene 1, Src family tyrosine kinase. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of c-yes has a canonical amino acid length of 543 residues and a protein mass of 60.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HsT441, P61-YES, and Yes. Western Blot is the most common application for the c-yes antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
