Anti-DIL-2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DIL-2 is a known alias name of the protein TPX2 microtubule nucleation factor, encoded by the TPX2 gene in humans. This 747-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and cell division, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the lung carcinoma cell lines but not in normal lung tissues. Western Blot is the most common application for the DIL-2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
