Anti-EPRS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EPRS is a known alias name of the protein glutamyl-prolyl-tRNA synthetase 1, encoded by the EPRS1 gene in humans. This 1512-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in insulin signaling pathways and the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for EPRS include EARS and GLUPRORS. Some EPRS antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
