Anti-Dihydrolipoamide S-succinyltransferase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DLST in humans. The gene may also be known as DLTS, PGL7, dihydrolipoyllysine-residue succinyltransferase component of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, mitochondrial, and E2K. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 48.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
