Anti-BCL2L15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein BCL2 like 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 163 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.7 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. BCL2L15 is known to be involved with the apoptotic pathway. Synonyms for this target antigen include bcl-2 family kin, pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 protein, and bcl-2-like protein 15. BCL2L15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some BCL2L15 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
