Anti-ADAM metallopeptidase domain 9 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ADAM9 in humans. The gene may also be known as a disintegrin and metallopeptidase domain 9 (meltrin gamma), Mltng, MDC9, MCMP, and CORD9. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 90.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
