Anti-OR4Q2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 4 subfamily Q member 2 (gene/pseudogene). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 4Q2 and olfactory receptor OR14-21. OR4Q2 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine species.
