Anti-Laman antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Laman antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAN2B1 gene, which encodes mannosidase alpha class 2B member 1. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of Laman has a canonical amino acid length of 1011 residues and a protein mass of 113.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Laman is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 38 protein family. Indicated applications for Laman antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
