Anti-IFNL4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein interferon lambda 4 (gene/pseudogene). In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 179 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and is secreted. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Lambda interferon protein family, IFNL4 is a reported cytokine that may trigger an antiviral response activating the JAK-STAT pathway and up-regulating specifically some interferon-stimulated genes.
