Anti-CLAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BCL10 gene, which encodes BCL10 immune signaling adaptor. This protein is known to function in adaptive immune responses and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of CLAP has a canonical amino acid length of 233 residues and a protein mass of 26.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CARMEN and CIPER. Western Blot is the most common application for the CLAP antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
