Anti-TTLL6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin tyrosine ligase like 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 843 amino acid residues and a mass of 96.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, and bronchus. A member of the Tubulin--tyrosine ligase protein family, TTLL6 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein polyglutamylase TTLL6, tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family member 6, tubulin--tyrosine ligase-like protein 6, and tubulin polyglutamylase TTLL6. TTLL6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the TTLL6 antibodies listed below.
