Anti-NPP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NPP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ENPP1 gene, which encodes ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1. This protein is known to function in insulin signaling pathways and immune response pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of NPP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 925 residues and a protein mass of 104.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the parathyroid gland and thyroid gland. Other names for this target antigen include ARHR2, COLED, and M6S1. Western Blot is the most common application for the NPP1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
