Anti-small ArfGAP 2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the SMAP2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 429 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. Other names for this target antigen include stromal membrane-associated protein 2 and stromal membrane-associated GTPase-activating protein 2.
