Anti-HAR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HAR is a known alias name of the protein lymphatic vessel endothelial hyaluronan receptor 1, encoded by the LYVE1 gene in humans. This 322-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the morphogenesis of anatomical structure and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features O-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be mainly expressed in endothelial cells lining lymphatic vessels. Other synonyms for HAR include CRSBP-1 and XLKD1. Western Blot is the most common application for the HAR antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
