Anti-Ubiquitin D antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene UBD in humans. The gene may also be known as FAT10, UBD-3, GABBR1, UBD-3, diubiquitin, and ubiquitin-like protein FAT10. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 18.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
