Anti-LIP-STYX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LIP-STYX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MTMR9 gene, which encodes myotubularin related protein 9. This protein is known to function in endocytosis and autophagy pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of LIP-STYX has a canonical amino acid length of 549 residues and a protein mass of 63.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, ER, and cytoplasm of cells. LIP-STYX is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. Indicated applications for LIP-STYX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
