Anti-ERRa antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ERRa is a known alias name of the protein estrogen related receptor alpha, encoded by the ESRRA gene in humans. This 423-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to an ERR-alpha response element (ERRE) containing a single consensus half-site, 5'-TNAAGGTCA-3'. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features sumoylated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for ERRa include ERR1 and ERR1. These ERRa antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
