Anti-Alpha-MHC antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Alpha-MHC antigen is another term for the human protein myosin heavy chain 6, encoded by the MYH6 gene. The protein is known to function in in utero embryonic development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1939 residues and a mass of 223.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is expressed in the heart muscle and skeletal muscle. The Alpha-MHC protein is a member of the Myosin protein family. Other alias names for Alpha-MHC include ASD3, CMD1EE, and CMH14. A number of Alpha-MHC antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
