Anti-PB antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PB antigen is another term for the human protein histatin 3, encoded by the HTN3 gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 51 residues and a mass of 6.1 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is expressed in the salivary gland.
