Anti-NPRC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NPRC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NPR3 gene, which encodes natriuretic peptide receptor 3. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of NPRC has a canonical amino acid length of 541 residues and a protein mass of 59.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the kidney. Other names for this target antigen include ANP-C, ANPR-C, and ANPRC.
