Anti-MA1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MA1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PNMA1 gene, which encodes PNMA family member 1. This protein is known to function in the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological roles. The human version of MA1 has a canonical amino acid length of 353 residues and a protein mass of 39.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the skin, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. This target antigen may also be known as paraneoplastic antigen Ma1. Indicated applications for MA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
