Anti-Docking Protein 1 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DOK1 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 481 amino acid residues and a mass of 52.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is reported to be expressed in the pancreas, heart, leukocyte and spleen. A member of the DOK protein family, it is known to be involved with receptor-mediated signaling pathways and MAPK cascade signaling pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Other names for this target antigen include pp62, Downstream of tyrosine kinase 1, and P62DOK. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of Docking Protein 1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies.
