Anti-GS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GS1 is a known alias name of the protein myosin VA, encoded by the MYO5A gene in humans. This 1855-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in insulin signaling pathways and protein localization to the plasma membrane, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in melanocytes. Indicated applications for GS1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
