Anti-STRA13 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target STRA13 is a known alias name of the protein basic helix-loop-helix family member e40, encoded by the BHLHE40 gene in humans. This 412-amino acid residue protein is known to be a transcriptional repressor involved in the regulation of the circadian rhythm by negatively regulating the activity of the clock genes and clock-controlled genes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and sumoylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in cartilage, spleen, intestine, lung, and to a lesser extent in the heart, brain, liver, muscle and stomach. Other synonyms for STRA13 include BHLHB2, BHLHB2, and Clast5. Indicated applications for STRA13 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
