Anti-GPR157 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 157. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 335 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell projections. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 2 protein family, GPR157 is reported to be an orphan receptor that promotes neuronal differentiation of radial glial progenitors (RGPs). Synonyms for this target antigen include probable G-protein coupled receptor 157. GPR157 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the GPR157 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
