Anti-DBR1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein debranching RNA lariats 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 544 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Lariat debranching enzyme protein family, DBR1 is known to be involved with RNA splicing. The DBR1 gene has been associated with the disease, Encephalitis. Synonyms for this target antigen include RNA lariat debranching enzyme, debranching enzyme homolog 1, and lariat debranching enzyme. DBR1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
