Anti-Folate hydrolase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FOLH1 in humans. The gene may also be known as PSMA, FGCP, FOLH, GCP2, GCPII, glutamate carboxypeptidase 2, and N-acetylated alpha-linked acidic dipeptidase 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 84.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
