Anti-Thyroid hormone responsive antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene THRSP in humans. The gene may also be known as Spot 14, LPGP1, Lpgp, S14, SPOT14, thyroid hormone-inducible hepatic protein, and SPOT14 homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 16.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
