Anti-IL-30 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target IL-30 is a known alias name of the protein interleukin 27, encoded by the IL27 gene in humans. This 243-amino acid residue protein is reported to associate with EBI3 to form the IL-27 interleukin, a heterodimeric cytokine which functions in innate immunity. The protein is secreted and features O-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in monocytes and in the placenta. Western Blot is a widely used application for the IL-30 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
