Anti-EDG5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EDG5 is a known alias name of the protein sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 2, encoded by the S1PR2 gene in humans. This 353-amino acid residue protein is a known receptor for the lysosphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the small intestine, kidney, and duodenum. Other synonyms for EDG5 include AGR16, DFNB68, and EDG-5. Indicated applications for EDG5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
