Anti-CDX3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CDX3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CDX2 gene, which encodes caudal type homeobox 2. This protein is known to function in organ morphogenesis and blood vessel development, among other biological roles. The human version of CDX3 has a canonical amino acid length of 313 residues and a protein mass of 33.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the small intestine, rectum, duodenum, colon, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as CDX-3. Some CDX3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
