Anti-LNIR antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LNIR antigen is another term for the human protein nectin cell adhesion molecule 4, encoded by the NECTIN4 gene. The protein is suspected to be involved in cell adhesion through trans-homophilic and -heterophilic interactions, the latter including specifically interactions with NECTIN1. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 510 residues and a mass of 55.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be highly expressed in the placenta. The LNIR protein is a member of the Nectin protein family.
