Anti-LHA antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LHA antigen is another term for the human protein glycoprotein hormones, alpha polypeptide, encoded by the CGA gene. The protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 116 residues and a mass of 13.1 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is expressed in the pituitary gland and placenta. The LHA protein is a member of the Glycoprotein hormones subunit alpha protein family. Other alias names for LHA include CG-ALPHA, FSHA, and GPA1.
