Anti-FELS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FELS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PLVAP gene, which encodes plasmalemma vesicle associated protein. This protein is known to function in MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of FELS has a canonical amino acid length of 442 residues and a protein mass of 50.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the colon and endometrium.
