Anti-Membrane spanning 4-domains A4A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene MS4A4A in humans. The gene may also be known as 4SPAN1, CD20-L1, CD20L1, HDCME31P, membrane-spanning 4-domains subfamily A member 4A, and CD20 antigen-like 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 25.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
