Anti-LRRC16a antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The LRRC16a antigen is another term for the human protein capping protein regulator and myosin 1 linker 1, encoded by the CARMIL1 gene. The protein is known to function in cell migration, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1371 residues and a mass of 151.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in the lung, placenta, small intestine, liver, thymus, colon, skeletal muscle, heart and brain. The LRRC16a protein is a member of the CARMIL protein family.
