Anti-LYPD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LY6/PLAUR domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 125 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ly6/PLAUR domain-containing protein 2 and RGTR430. LYPD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the LYPD2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
