Anti-MAGEF1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAGE family member F1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 307 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.2 kDa. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. MAGEF1 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription and protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include MAGE-F1 antigen, melanoma antigen family F, 1, melanoma antigen family F1, and melanoma-associated antigen F1. MAGEF1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAGEF1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
